Student Teaching Site Visits

Hi everyone!

Over the past few weeks I have been on the search for a possible

cooperating school to do my student teaching internship at next spring. There were many factors that went into deciding where I wanted to visit. I am happy to say that I was completely blown away by the programs that I visited. They all had wonderful facilities and many different types of animals to visit from goats and pigs to hamsters, rabbits, and even some reptiles. Meet Emmet, he is a Russian tortoise.

By visiting these schools I was really able to understand what I wanted in a program and experience them all in person. All of the schools had a wide variety of courses that would allow me to get practice teaching a range of topics. I was also able to step out of my comfort zone and visit schools that I did not even think of before. I can definitely say that I am so excited to see where I will be placed for next spring. I know that no matter what I will have a great placement and learn a lot.
