A few weeks ago I went to visit Ms. Krista Mathias, who is student teaching at Pequea Valley High School. I was so excited for this visit because I have heard such great things about this school and the teachers there. I also knew that Krista was crushing it! I was NOT disappointed. While I was there I was able to see numerous animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, and some unfortunate piglets!

While I was there I watched various classes and activities be taught. In vet science they were dissecting fetal pigs

specifically their brain! I also learned about guinea pigs, and electrical wiring. I loved seeing all of the opportunities that Pequea Valley offers to their students including hands on instruction! Krista was thriving and I am so glad that I chose to visit this school!
That's all for this story with Ms. Sweeten! Until next time!

Anna, Hmm, I am not really identifying what you gleaned as a developing educator from this visit in this post. What specific things did you reflect on that Krista did well that you would want to refine in your practice?
