How did I get here?

My love of agriculture began at a young age. I had began working with and showing horses in the third grade. I was an active member in 4-H, FFA, and IEA throughout school. My high school agriculture classrooms were like my home away from home. I had two wonderful teachers in my program that inspired me to pursue agriculture education as a career. I cannot be more thankful for the past experiences I have had in agriculture, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. Stay tuned if you want to go on this crazy adventure with me!

First, let me introduce myself, my name is Anna Sweeten. I am a student at Penn State working towards getting my bachelor's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education. I am creating this site to share my experiences throughout my education that have led me to become the teacher I aspire to be, including my student teaching experience!
