A Legendairy Experience!

Last week I visited another students SAE project. The student I visited is an active member in FFA and one of our chapter officers. She has an SAE at a dairy farm called "Legendairy" which is a pretty clever name if I do say so myself. This is a small dairy farm near in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania. In her SAE she milks cows, feed, and cleans pens!

It was awesome to see her in action milking and using machinery to clean pens. She is having a lot of fun while learning all of these new skills! Before this visit I was able to chat with her a bit about her SAE and check her record book on AET. I evaluated her SAE on her ability to complete her job and answer my questions. She did a great job! I did not have any recommendations for her other than to think more about how she can grown in her SAE.

I really enjoyed this SAE visit, it allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and learn some new stuff about cows!

That's all for this story with Ms. Sweeten. See you next time!

Anna,

How are we reviewing documentation of developing career skills and what are the skills looking to be developed in this internship?
